Your content should be consistent. Not boring, but consistent.

Magazines have mastered this. When you buy a magazine you know that it will have top 10 tips, job opportunities, an interview with a VIP and the latest news.

Communities should do the same. Schedule your content on a weekly basis.

On Monday you might post about the latest news, Tuesday you publish an opinion column from a member, Wednesday might be an interview with a community member, Thursday might be the latest in your advice series on a specific topic  and Friday is where members share their favourite pictures of the week.

…and don’t forget Caturday!

The other bonus of doing this is you can plan the workload on a regular schedule.
