Welcome e-mails

September 5, 2013Comments Off on Welcome e-mails

The role of the welcome e-mail is to get members into the
notification cycle
. This means you need to solicit an immediate interaction
from these members.

Don’t tell members everything they can do in the community. Greater
choice leads to less action
. Tell members the single most interesting thing
they can participate in right now. Update this on a regular basis.
