If you moderate any comments or information in your community, you are a publisher of information. Publishers have responsibilities.
Despite your terms and conditions, if information in your community harms members, you can be held responsible. If the actions of the community harms your client (or rival companies!), you can be held accountible.
Today is a good day to a) protect yourself and b) spend a few hours with a notepad brushing up on legal issues facing your online community.

If you can be sued because someone posts something negative about a person or company, then why take the risk to start a community or blog in the first place?
