You can go the extra mile,
If you know lots of members are attending the same event, you can arrange meet-ups between them. You can create and highlight posts that encourage members to share their travel plans, car-pool, co-ordinate hotels, and meet-up.
It takes very little effort and helps foster a stronger sense of community.
