Many online communities are worth thousands, if not millions.
People are buying and selling them every day. Some are even raising venture capital to fund the growth of their community.
You don’t need to be a skilled coder to create a valuable asset anymore. Your community doesn’t need to be based around a technological breakthrough or nifty design.
That’s exciting. It opens the door to everyone. You can build a valuable community, even a business, with nothing more than free (and simple) web tools and persistent community building efforts.
Good luck.
