The answer is the same as the maximum.
One, and that’s you (say hi!).
Your community starts with getting yourself involved. If your mind isn’t really in this, if this community doesn’t sound like a place you’ll visit on weekends, then you have no-one to start a community with. And that’s just dumb.
Worry less about the minimum number of people you need to start a community. Worry more about who you’re going to invite next.
You don’t need to launch big, you need to grow big.
Once you’re in, you can invite 10 friends. Then 10 more…
But it all starts with you. Are you in?

Hi Richard ! Thanks for your post. We must be committed first as you mentioned and quantity metrics shouldn't be the main focus, especially at the beginning.

hee hee this is so true :)
Have started a new 'community' of ranting mothers / women ... and you know there were three of us now nine of us writting and many more reading ... ain't life grand
hope all your new work is going well ... have been away a while ... that pic of you looks so different from the last - might I suggest you need a more 'smiley' ... just a fraction of a smile as you look so not smiley in this one .. yet your voice in your posts is so user friendly and smiley ..
feel free to ignore this observation altogether - le
